UCB scholarship programmes

In five years, UCB has awarded more than 400 college scholarships – totaling more than USD 3 million – to people living beyond the boundaries of Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and epilepsy, as well as their carers and family members. In 2010, UCB has awarded 31 scholarships to Crohn’s disease patients, as well as family members and carers.  The same number of scholarships was received by rheumatoid arthritis patients and relatives. 30 scholarships were given to people with epilepsy, and 10 to family members or carers. The 40 epilepsy scholarship winners were selected out of 800 applicants.
