UCB has created an MBA career pathway to develop high calibre leadership and management skills with experience and exposure across a full range of functional disciplines at global level. This career pathway provides a unique opportunity for recent MBA graduates interested in developing their leadership skills and knowledge of the biopharma industry to become high-flying, long-term contributors at UCB.
The programme is spread over two or three years, with specific challenges in one or two functional areas, taking into consideration individual interests and skills as well as UCB's needs. The individual will be assigned to specific projects in the selected functional area. At the programme’s completion, each participant will be considered for a leadership role in the company, matching both the individual’s interests and UCB’s needs.
Individuals selected for this programme will be paid a competitive starting salary and an annual performance-based bonus.
We will assign a senior executive mentor to each participant to provide overall career guidance and coaching. A formal feedback session will be organised every six months for both parties to ensure that the development is aligned with its original goals.

Upon completion of the programme, UCB will consider participants for positions offering them opportunities on a worldwide basis, building on the experience and skills gained during the MBA career pathway. Career paths will take different directions, depending on the particular skills and potential of each individual.
An MBA Career programme may take place at any of UCB’s locations worldwide with opportunities located in more than one country.
In addition to mentorship from a senior executive to provide guidance and coaching, we will also give participants the opportunity to attend some internal and external training sessions to complement to their on-the-job education.
