Dividend policy

The Board intends to continue to sustain a dynamic dividend policy, consistent with the long term growth prospects of the Company, offering gradual increase in dividend, and as far as possible not to reduce it, irrespective of the short term income variations.

Dividends

According to Article 45 of the company's Articles of Association, the payment of dividends shall be made annually at the times and places fixed by the Board of Directors. Payments usually take place a few days after the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders.

Paying agent services

Coupon N°12 (2009) was paid on 6 May 2010 at the branches and agencies of KBC Bank S.A. and BNP Paribas Fortis S.A. These paying agents do not charge shareholders with respect to payments of dividends, the exercise of subscription rights and other events concerning UCB's shares. Shareholders are advised to inform themselves about the amounts that other financial intermediaries may charge in connection with paying agency services.
