Kentera® (Overactive Bladder)

Kentera® (oxybutynin) is a transdermal patch treatment for symptomatic treatment of urge incontinence and/or increased urinary frequency and urgency as may occur in patients with unstable bladder.

The skin patch needs to be applied twice weekly and adheres well during activities such as exercising, bathing, showering and swimming. However, it is advisable to avoid soaking in a hot bath for a long period of time as this may cause the patch to come off. When the patch is put on the skin, it slowly releases the anticholinergic drug, oxybutynin.

Kentera® is approved for use in the EU. It is for use in adults only.
